Archangel Raphael

Raphael is a Celestial Angelic Being within the Angelic Order known as the Archangels.  Archangels are responsible for ministering to humans, considered somewhat like “manager angels,” Archangels oversee the responsibilities of Guardian Angels and the other Celestial Light Beings that act as our guardians and guides.

Each Archangel has specific qualities that distinguish their characteristics and their specific angelic responsibilities.  Archangel Raphael’s realm of angelic expertise resides within Health & Healing.

Raphael’s healing domain is all encompassing, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic health. This Archangel is dedicated to our realizing and maintaining our True and Natural State of Wellness, helping us to Remember that our True Essence is Healthy, Whole and Complete.

Archangel Raphael’s healing compass is attuned to human healing and to healing domestic and wild animals. Raphael is a steadfast and devoted angelic ally who will provide healing support to any/all those who call upon him.  There is no request that could be considered too grand nor is there a request that would ever be deemed insignificant.  Raphael is dedicated to helping alleviate any and all illness, injury, pain, suffering, discomfort, imbalance, etc. so that we may be healthy, happy and balanced within body, mind and spirit.

Archangel Raphael is also an Angelic Mentor and Guide to those working within any aspect of Healthcare, traditional or alternative, including those working in any aspect of animal health. Additionally, Raphael will provide mentoring to students studying any aspect of healthcare, traditional or alternative, human or animal.

Whether it be our doctors, surgeons, nurses, lab technicians, energy healers, dietitians, dentists, personal trainers, veterinarians, veterinarian assistants/technicians, physical, mental and/or emotional therapists, etc., etc., etc., Raphael will respond to a request to guide and inspire those responsible for our personal healthcare. Always honoring the Law of Free Will, he will lend healing inspiration and divine guidance to those responsible for our healthcare, providing guidance toward realizing our optimum health and well being.  Upon our request and invitation, this Angelic Health Care Ambassador will also help guide us to a healthcare professional that we will best resonate with and with those whose services will be in alignment with our healing needs.

Upon our invitation, Archangel Raphael will also work with us personally and directly toward self- healing.  He will assist in the reawakening of our own natural healing abilities, as well as to remind us that through our Oneness with the Divine Universal Source, we are One with the Power of Miraculous Healing.  Raphael will guide, inspire and mentor us toward realizing and experiencing our personal intentions for health and well being. 

An Angelic Dietitian, an Angelic Personal Trainer, Angelic Sleep Therapist and Angelic Self Care Advisor, Raphael can offer heavenly healing assistance in any area.  Upon our request and invitation, he will guide, inspire and motivate us toward healthy eating habits, provide motivation to regularly participate in fun, healthy exercise, align our sleep patterns so that they are restorative and rejuvenating, and will inspire us to generally take over all good care of ourselves. 

Raphael is an Angelic Ally for those who desire freedom from addictions and cravings. Upon our request and invitation he will provide healing platforms to release, heal and transcend addictions and cravings of any kind.  Raphael will guide and inspire us to practice healthy habits that are supportive of our optimum health, happiness and well being.

For Energy Healers and those who desire to practice energetic hygiene, Raphael will guide, support and lend healing energy to clear chakras, cut and clear energetic cords, clear the aura of impurities and repair the auric field.  He will provide healing support for any and all aspects of energy healing and energetic hygiene.

Archangel Raphael will also act as an Angelic Ambassador for Travelers, guiding and protecting those who request his assistance with any aspect of physical travel and/or spiritual journeys. Raphael will also release spirits and clear negative thought forms from our energy and environments.

Archangel Raphael is protective and supportive, always demonstrating the infinite love of the Divine Source. Raphael’s angelic energy is typically seen as emerald green and his presence inspires confidence and trust.  Raphael is experienced as loving, gentle, kind, compassionate and friendly and although he takes his angelic responsibilities extremely seriously, he is also fun loving.

Raphael is an awesome Archangel, an all encompassing celestial guardian who is absolutely devoted to our experiencing a healthy and happy life.

Archangel Michael

Meaning- "Who is like God", "Like unto God", "Who is like the Divine"

The first Angel created by God, Michael is the leader of all the Archangels and is in charge of protection, courage, strength, truth and integrity.  Michael protects us physically, emotionally and psychically.  He also oversees the lightworker's life purpose.  His chief function is to rid the earth and its inhabitants of the toxins associated with fear.  Michael carries a flaming sword that he uses to cut through etheric cords and protects us from Satan and negative entities.  When he's around you may see sparkles or flashes of bright blue or purple light.  Call on Michael if you find yourself under psychic attack or if you feel you lack commitment, motivation and dedication to your beliefs, courage, direction, energy, vitality, self-esteem, worthiness.  Michael helps us to realize our life's purpose and he's invaluable to lightworkers helping with protection, space clearing and spirit releasement.

Michael conquered the fallen Angel Satan, was in the Garden of Eden to teach Adam how to farm and care for his family, spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai and in 1950 he was canonized as Saint Michael, "the patron of Police Officers," because he helps with heroic deeds and bravery.  Michael also has an incredible knack for fixing electrical and mechanical devices, including computers and automobiles.  If your automobile breaks down, call on Michael.

Michael helps us to follow our truth without compromising our integrity and helps us to find our true natures and to be faithful to who we really are.  Other times when you may find Michael helpful is when your job is too demanding with impossible deadlines to reach, when you have an addiction, if you're very ill and suffering from a degenerative disease or terminal illness and when you suffer from nightmares.

Archangel Metatron

Force idea: " I am united with the source of all goodness, love and creativity."

Symbolism: Metatron appears as the most earthly of Archangels, as he was once a wise and virtuous man whom God took up into Heaven. He is richly attired and bolds a pen in one hand as he records our deeds in the Book of Life. He has the ability to help us know the true measure of things.

Angelic realm: Archangel of the Heaven of Form.

Angelic function: Recorder of the Book of life and scribe for all our deeds. 

Gifts for earth: He helps us to find the proper measure for all we do; he acts as witness to the good we do and the love we give; he helps us realize our potential as loving and worthwhile human beings.

Metatron is the only angel within the heavenly spheres who was once human. He was known as Enoch and was the seventh Patriarch after Adam. It was written that he 'walked with God' and was taken up into Heaven where he was made an Archangel. There is speculation in Jewish scripture that he is the Shekinah, the angel who led the children of Israel out of the wilderness. It is thought too that it was Metatron who stopped Abraham from sacrificing his son Isaac to God.

Metatron is also known as the first and last of the Archangels and is variously called the Chancellor of Heaven, the Angel of the Covenant and the King of the Angels. His heavenly function is to supervise the recording of all our deeds in the Book of Life.

He is charged with sustaining human life and acts as the bridge between the Divine and mankind. We can seek counsel from him by asking him to help us find the proper measure for every action we take in our lives. At one level this means helping us find the balance between what we give out and what we keep for ourselves. This enables us to maintain well-defined boundaries and thus keep a clear sense of self, so neccssary if we are to succeed in fulfilling our potential within the world of form.

Metatron can help us find the proper measure in love, work and recreation so that we live balanced, healthy lives, rich in harmony and serenity. He will also be a witness to the good we do, perhaps those acts of love or kindness not recognized by others. He can also help us when we have put effort and toil into making something work, whatever it is: it could be anything from trying to make a relationship work, losing weight, or giving up an addictive or damaging habit, to throwing ourselves fully into a cause or team effort.

We can pray to The Archangel Metatron to guide our efforts and to help us find the right measure for our output and activities. We can ask Metatron in our meditation to assist us in knowing when 'enough is enough', or when we need to do more for ourselves or others.

Archangel Uriel

The name Uriel literally means

"Fire of God," "Flame of God," "Light of God," or even "Sun of God." 

Some accounts place the Archangel Uriel at the head of the third order or company of angels.  Others identify Uriel as one of the Seven Spirits before the Throne.  Kabbalists assign Uriel to the middle pillar of the Tree of Life, and specifically to the sephirah Malkuth, the Kingdom.   Malkuth is often associated with the Shekinah, the Glory of God and the divine presence in the world.   Malkuth represents the lowest point of descent of the divine force, from which it ascends again to complete the cycle of manifestation and pralaya.  The penetration of divine force to the physical plane is of particular interest, at this time, because of the increasing intensity of seventh-ray energy in the world and growing emphasis on healing work.

The Archangel Uriel has been called "the Lord of powerful action" [Helena Roerich.  Heart.  Agni Yoga Society, 1932, 268].  Uriel personifies the Divine Fire that comes down from the Third Aspect of Deity--Universal Mind--penetrating each plane until It reaches the physical.  There, the Fire ignites the fusion in the center of the Sun, the fission at the center of the Earth, and the kundalini at the base of the spine.  It creates worlds, universes, and life--which then await the quickening impulse of the Second Aspect to evolve and grow.

The Book of Enoch describes Uriel as "one of the holy angels, who is over the world... the leader of them all."  Later we read in the same book: "Uriel showed to me, whom the Lord of glory hath set for ever over all the luminaries of the heaven... the sun, moon, and stars, all the ministering creatures which make their revolution in all the chariots of the heaven." 

In Paradise Lost, John Milton mentions "Th' Arch-Angel URIEL, one of the seav'n, Who in Gods presence, neerest to his Throne... Regent of the Sun."  In his oratorio, The Creation, composed in 1797, Franz Joseph Haydn has Uriel announce the words from Genesis: "And God saw the light, that it was good... And God said, Let there be light in the firmament of heaven, to divide the day from the night, and to give light upon the earth... He made the stars also."

Colin Wilson describes encounters between Uriel and the 16th century scholar, Dr. John Dee.  Dee's scrying assistant, Edward Kelley, saw a cherub in a crystal ball.   Dee identified the cherub from his Kabbalistic knowledge as "Uriel, the angel of light."  Later, in 1582, Dee had a vision of a child angel floating outside the window, holding a crystal egg.  Again he identified this with Uriel.  Wilson claims that the crystal egg is preserved in the British Museum. [Colin Wilson.  The Occult: A History.  Random House, 1971, pp. 273-4].  Whether Uriel appears as a child, a powerful man, or a woman of regal bearing (as the artistic depictions show below), the archangel continues to command the imagination, reverence, and devotion of people around the world.

Uriel is often referred to as the Great Archangel of the Earth.  One contemporary account describes the archangel thus: "He (or she) is the keeper of the mysteries which are deep within the planet, underground and in the hidden depths of the living world."  

The feast day of the Archangel Uriel is celebrated July 28.   Uriel's influence is believed to peak during the summer months.  According to Corinne Heline:  "The beautiful Uriel stands guardian over the activities of the summer.  The ripening of grain and the floodtide of blossom are under his guidance.   He also supervises the Nature Spirits, those fascinating little sprites who inhabit the elements of earth, air, fire and water, and who lend so much to the beautification of all nature.  The highest initiatory teachings belonging to the New Age... are under the direction of Uriel."  [Corinne Heline.  The Blessed Virgin Mary.  New Age Press, 1971, p. 110.]

Invocation to the Archangel Uriel

Glory to God and his deeds,

for everything is good and wonderful.

Holy Archangel Uriel,

protect and look after rivers,

their waters we drink,

life springs up from them;

make grass sprout for cattle,

make man yield bread out of the land,

wine to enliven his heart,

oil and food to give him force.
