Opening the Mouth of God:
an interview with Richard Doré for the New Times, October 1997
Richard Doré is a true mystic and teacher. His two books, Creating Your Light Body and Ancient Wisdom, are filled with inspiring channeled information and instruction for activating one’s light body and working with ascension energies. For several years, he has taught workshops centered on those teachings from his books, as well as incorporating powerful Vedic mantras he received while in Thailand.
More recently, the focus of his teaching has shifted. As Richard explains in my interview with him, he has been led to another key for unlocking our spirituality: a powerful process by which individuals can consciously inhabit the energy of Source Within each of us is a divine light; imagine if that spark of God was ignited! Richard describes what sounds to me like our lifeline to the universe as he talks with me about the Mouth of God.
Scott: What is the Mouth of God?
Richard: It's an energy center; probably the most important energy center we have. It's at the base of the head, where the medulla oblongata is, and its function is different from the other chakras because it's the only chakra that induces energy. The rest of the chakras induce energy, but they also transmit energy and store energy. The Mouth of God is an opening by which energy comes in only.
Scott: I have always heard that we have seven chakras in our physical body. Are you saying we have eight?
Richard: I'm saying that this chakra maybe has no number. All of your chakras are in the etheric body. I don't know how you would relate it to the seven physical chakras. In a sense it's part of the spiritual system, not so significantly related to the properties of the physical body. It is in fact related to the pineal and the pituitary. When energy induces into the Mouth of God, it goes directly through the pineal, through the pituitary, and into the heart center.
Scott: Is this energy center something that's active now, in all people?
Richard: Yes. It's functioning in some way, or you wouldn't be here; you could not be here. Obviously it's not wide open, or people would be advancing at a much faster rate.
Scott: Where did you learn about the Mouth of God?
Richard: I was recently taught how to activate the Mouth of God in other people by a personwho lives as a recluse in New Mexico. His name is Lorenzo, and he was given this information by the being we know as Simon Peter. Lorenzo was actually given this information a number of years ago, but for whatever reason he has not done much with it until now. It was one of those synchronistic events for me: I went to a one-day workshop, yet I wasn't really sure why I was there because it was nothing new to me and there were no exciting activities planned. I just felt compelled to be there. The friend of mine holding the workshop had met Lorenzo and told me about the Mouth of God process. Again, I felt very compelled to get in touch with Lorenzo. When I did, I found out he was going to be teaching facilitators, so I made the trip. Lorenzo took me through the process and activated my Mouth of God; then he gave me an initiation into the teaching aspect so that I am now a teacher of that process as well.
Scott: What was your own experience with the activation?
Richard: Lots of experiences. One was a sense of unity, a tremendous sense of expansion -- a connection to the spiritual realm, much stronger and more constant. It seems to be with me all the time as opposed to just when I'm meditating. Sometimes it's very subtle and sometimes it's very, very powerful.
After the first activation, I woke up in the middle of the night and it felt like there was somebody with a hand inside my head, squeezing it. I don't know how to explain it other than that. When you take the activation you can feel the energy rush in. It's like opening a dam, or a floodgate, and the energy simply rushes in. Of course it's different for everybody, but typically people experience a sense of who they are as God or Christ, or as the energy of Christ. Many people, including myself, get a tremendous sense of expansion because it does actually expand you; it increases the distance between the electron and the atom.
The increased awareness and sense of self that I experienced have stayed with me. Some days I'm more conscious of my connection to Source, or God, or All That Is. When that sense wanes, a few minutes of meditation will bring it back, and it will usually last all day long. In this world we live in there's a lot of stress, a lot of strain, a lot of interference coming from all kinds of energy sources: people, cars, buildings, whatever. Most of that interferes with our sense of who we are and our sense of connection, and it does with mine too. But now, when I notice the lack of that connection, I can re-establish it quite readily by closing my eyes and doing a short meditation.
This truly is the most powerful process I have experienced, and I've spent a decade seeking powerful tools: those that will enhance my growth and the growth of others. There are a lot of them talked about, but most come up short. They're an interesting, fun process, but they don't live up to their billing, so to speak. The Mouth of God process does live up to its billing, and is certainly more impactful than anything I have found on this planet -- and I've been all over this planet seeking those processes that are very powerful and growth-enhancing. Nothing in my experience has been as powerful as the Mouth of God process.
Scott: I believe that the Harmonic Convergence was when the energies of Source really began to be grounded upon the earth.
Richard: That's true. It was perhaps the first significant grounding of the energy of Source onto Earth. Without that influx of energy, the planet probably would have died. I mean, it was at a crossroads.
Scott: Do you think that the Mouth of God activation being available now is a furthermanifestation of the energies of Source?
Richard: Yes. And even more, it's a way of accelerating that is sorely needed, because we have decelerated for centuries. This was brought to the planet for people to use, to experience. It's an ancient system. In fact, it's part of what masters call the Sidhis. The Sidhis are some of the highest forms of spiritual experiences you can have, and this is part of that. It was lost and was not taught, prior to Lorenzo’s receiving the process and passing it on today.
Scott: Would you describe the experience as opening the Mouth of God within you so thatyou may speak as God, or as opening the Mouth of God within yourself so that you mayhear God?
Richard: Opening the Mouth of God opens what Lorenzo calls the transcendental dialogue, which means the information that comes doesn't always come as words but as a feeling sense: a knowing or intuition. Since the Mouth of God sits just above the throat chakra, it definitely enhances the clarity of your own speaking about matters of truth or spiritual wisdom, but it's more related to hearing and listening, sensing and knowing.
Scott: Opening the lines of communication between you and Source?
Richard: Right. It will change the way you speak to some degree, however -- maybe to a large degree. As the humans on the planet have evolved, they're able to take on higher energies and do more. I don't think that ten years ago anybody could have actually done this -- or if they did, it would probably have been so mind-blowing and destabilizing that it would take months to recover. Now we're given this process that is more evolutionary, higher if you will, or more advanced, with which we can work.
Scott: If you could say only one thing about this process, what would that be?
Richard: Activating the Mouth of God will change your life in some way. This can appear somewhat troublesome at times, because humans resist change. This will change who you are, what you are, and the way you see yourself. It will change the way you see the universe. In that respect, the change can be troublesome. On the other hand, we all live with change; there is no status quo. Form is forever changing, so if you're here in physical form, you're in a state of change. This is a planet of duality, or polarity. We shift and change between polar opposites. Those opposites may not be good and evil -- that's a judgment -- but there is light and dark...perhaps.
After having experienced the Mouth of God process myself, I can attest to the truth of what Richard claims. I have felt considerably less weighed down by this body. I believe this is the expansion of which Richard speaks. More notably, the connection it establishes with a larger part of myself has remained with me to the extent that since undergoing the process, any time fear or worry have raised their ugly heads in my mind I have not fallen prey to their temptation. There has definitely been a shift in my awareness, but the effects have been anything but subtle. The best description I can muster is that as I go through my day I feel the truth, "'God is with us." I feel as if Richard has opened a space inside of me that is still and silent -- a quiet, light place where divinity dwells. Stranger still, I sense that my experience in that space thus far is only a beginning.
